How to Use Custom Server Arguments (Flags) on ARK: Survival Ascended

Apply launch flags for advanced settings.

Custom server arguments (also known as flags) give you advanced control over how your server runs. These options let you enable crossplay, disable BattleEye, or apply mod settings directly.

Steps to Add Custom Arguments:

  1. Log Into the RocketNode Panel

Head to panel.rocketnode.com and open your ARK: Survival Ascended server.

  2. Stop the Server

Always stop the server before editing configuration fields.

  3. Open the Configuration Tab

Scroll to the section labeled ADDITIONAL ARGUMENTS (FLAGS).

  4. Enter Your Flags

Type in the arguments you want to apply. Each flag should be separated by a space, without touching each other.

    Example:

    • crossplay -UseBattleEye -mods=1234,1235,1236
  5. Start the Server

Return to the main panel and start your server. The custom flags will be applied.

Using custom flags is recommended for experienced users who want more specific control over gameplay settings and server behavior.
