How to Turn Off Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) on Your 7 Days to Die Server

Learn how to disable Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) on your 7 Days to Die server to allow mods and custom configurations that may not be EAC-compatible.

Disable EAC to prevent false detections but be aware of the risks.

Disabling Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) can be useful if you’re experiencing issues like being kicked for false cheating detections. However, keep in mind that turning off EAC makes your server more susceptible to hackers, as the anti-cheat protection will no longer be active.

Steps to Disable Easy Anti-Cheat:

  1. Log in to RocketNode’s Game Panel and stop your server.

  2. Navigate to File Manager and open serverconfig.xml.

  3. Find the EACEnabled property and change its value to false.

  4. Save the file and restart your server.

Once your server restarts, Easy Anti-Cheat will be disabled, and players will not be kicked for potential cheating detections.
