How to Change the Map on a 7 Days to Die Server
Learn how to change the map on your 7 Days to Die server by selecting a new pre-generated world or generating a custom one.
Switching maps can refresh your server’s experience. Follow these steps:
- Go to the RocketNode Panel
- Navigate to your server settings.
- Edit the serverconfig.xml File
- Open serverconfig.xml.
- Modify the “WorldGenSeed” and “WorldGenSize” Settings
- Change these settings to generate a new world.
- Save, Delete World Files, and Restart
- Save the file, delete the old world folder, and restart the server.
Your server will now load a new map!
